Micranthemum ‘Monte Carlo’

Micranthemum ‘Monte Carlo’ is a fast-growing, low-creeping plant with small, bright green rounded leaves. Popular as an aquarium carpet plant, it adapts very well to emersed growth, making it ideal for terrariums and paludariums with high humidity.

Terrarium (Emersed) Care

• Substrate: Grows best in aqua soil or nutrient-rich planted soil

• Humidity: 70–90%, suitable for closed terrariums

• Light: Medium to bright indirect light (brighter light promotes compact growth)

• Water: Keep the substrate evenly moist; do not allow drying

• Temperature: 20–28°C

Once established, it spreads by runners and forms a dense green carpet under emersed conditions.
