Cryptocoryne lucens

Cryptocoryne lucens is a slender-leaved Cryptocoryne with narrow, bright green foliage and a graceful, grass-like appearance. It adapts well to emersed growth, making it a good choice for humid terrariums and paludariums.

Terrarium (Emersed) Care

• Substrate: Aqua soil is recommended. Like most Cryptocorynes, it is a heavy root feeder and does not thrive in regular terrarium substrates.

• Humidity: 70–90%, ideal for closed or semi-closed terrariums

• Light: Low to medium indirect light

• Water: Keep the substrate consistently moist

• Temperature: 22–28°C

Some initial leaf melt after planting is normal; new emersed leaves will grow once the plant establishes.
