Hoya Heuschkeliana – Plant Care Guide
Light:
Loves bright, indirect light. A few hours of morning sun are beneficial, but avoid intense afternoon sun which can burn the leaves. Can tolerate medium light but may not flower well.
Water:
Allow the top 1–2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. It prefers to be slightly on the drier side. Overwatering can lead to root rot. Use a pot with good drainage.
Humidity:
Enjoys higher humidity (50–70%). Will do fine in average humidity but thrives with a boost—use a humidifier or pebble tray if needed.
Temperature:
Prefers temperatures between 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts and temps below 10°C.
Soil:
Use a light, well-aerated potting mix — a combination of orchid bark, perlite, and peat/coco coir is ideal. Good drainage is crucial.
